The webinar will feature a panel of thought leaders to discuss the lack of representation that persist in the media, and how we can come together—across multiple industries, professions, and backgrounds—to ensure the Latino narrative in the American story is accurately represented.
This webinar came to fruition after a recent Government Accountability Office (GAO) report showed findings that over the past ten years, little change has occurred to show action in creating a more accurate, diverse representation of the U.S. population. Going back even further, UnidosUS began the work on reporting invisibility of Latinos in media and how this negatively affects our community nearly 30 years ago.
